This is one of my all time favorite lip balms. B&C Mikanchan Lip Balm. Its the shape of a mandarin orange and its smells just like it too. Its a great lip balm that softens your lips while smelling fresh. I bought it on a whim while in Japan just cause I <3 cute packaging. You can buy it on SaSa's Site.
They also make an apple, pear and lemon version. They use to make a momo (peach) version, but I found it wasn't as effective as the orange, and I believe its been discontinued. Just the container alone is cute, after using it all I use it to store jewelry. They also make matching hand creams (that come in larger versions) in each fruit to pair with the lip balms!

La Mer Worth It?
Now I did just get some microdermabrasion done the week before. It was my first time. It is amazing and hurts so good. The next day after the treatment, I did get flaky skin again, but it was noticeably less. I have a few more treatments to go, but I will pair this with using La Mer because I want my skin back to what it use to be before I came out to NOVA. The winter this season has been vicious.
So then I finally broke down and bought La Mer. Of course it was the smallest size they had (1oz)but, hot damn this stuff works! Granted I have only been using this stuff for a week now. I had some concerns since the cream is thick and has to be rubbed in your palm before application. I feel like I'm wasting it on my fingers and palms. Ok, so I have combo skin, oily in the summer, dry in the winter, and recently I have been fighting flaky skin on my cheeks. After this I have seen an immediate reduction in flaky skin, and skin texture. Its not yet super smooth, but with all the at home exfoliations I did, they never seemed to remove all the dead skin. This cream moisturized my skin enough so that I don't get the flaky skin. Definately get it if you can.
I also got the La Mer Eye concentrate. I actually got the limited edition one with the little stand that holds the ball wand. Its rather convenient. I cant stand getting applicators and wands with stuff and no where to store it properly, cause then I lose them. So this is applied morning and evening after cleansing, but I will follow up on that when I see results. Which I do hope is soon. I have bad bags and dark circles under my eyes, and even lil white bumps near the corners of my eyes. I doubt this will remedy the bumps, but hopefully this make the circles disappear.

Ash Platform Wedges
Called Lovely, they really are.
Its a redo on their old style. Dressed up with platforms and wedges. I like how they are a cross between sandals and booties. Sure to elongate limbs, this will look great with the current trends of cropped slacks this spring, and these will surely take you into fall. I got mine for 230 at shopbop
edit: you can get it at lord and taylors with coupon simple

new Find
Just found out about Groupon.com which is an online community that gets group coupons (group-ons) or discounts to shops, restaurants, and services. I purchased 3 laser hair removal sessions for $185 (and I needed it). To get it, enough people just have to sign up, or buy. And they have groupons for a city near you. You can also give a Groupon. Check it.

Wild Thing, I think I love you~~~
Where The Wild Things Are X Opening Ceremony
Spike Jonze is like the epitome of Hipster, his movies and videos are quirky, hes got the scruffy white guy look, and hes smart for marketing his movie at Urban Outfitters, the epicenter of every Hipster community. Anywayss He and his Co. has gone and collaborated with Opening ceremony to design a clothing line based on Wild Things. You not only can have the dolls, watch the movie, read the book, and rock to the soundtrack (which btw is aaaaw~~some) now you can wear a piece of a Wild Thing, and essentially be one yourself. They don't come cheap but are cute none the less. Below being my favorite. Best part is that its reversible! Click the link above to peruse.

Elbow @ 9:30
Elbow was a great show, so was their opening act, Jessica Hoop. She was a one woman show with a breathy voice. She even kinda sings when she talks. There was only one point when someone kept breaking wind~ errr and as with any sold out venue that is standing room, it was hot as hell. Elbow has a great singer and gentleman, he was quite polite. Maybe it was the accent. The music is great and pretty chill, check em out. Now about the ppl who dance. Don't dance with your arms in the air orchestrating the band, its not cool. Its very ugly. And its always annoying to have that one person who is so moved by the music they sway all around and twist their heads all while a whole 2 cm from your face. Seriously, think about the ppl behind you, we have to watch this!! some consideration please~
